Ronnie Fieg と ASICS は、コラボレーションを継続し、Kith Chicago のオープンを記念して新作コレクションを発表します。本コレクションでは、Fieg のシグネチャーモデルである GEL-LYTE III の新作に加え、GEL-KAYANO 12.1 と 14® の復刻、そして Mai 0.1 と GEL-LYTE 3.1 の再登場を含むラインナップが展開されます。

「World’s Fair」と題された本コレクションは、万国博覧会（World’s Fair）の歴史とグローバルなヘリテージにオマージュを捧げたもので、各8型それぞれは、過去の開催都市である Chicago、France、Japan、Canada、Italy、Brazil、South Korea、そして United States からインスピレーションを得ています。

本コレクションは、Ronnie Fieg が 2011 年に手がけた初の Kith フットウェアコラボレーションである GEL-LYTE III から始まります。4つのブロッキングで構成されたカラーパレットに、キルティングを施したアンダーレイ、サイドにはパテントレザーのタイガーストライプ、そして Fieg のブランディングをあしらったアイコニックなスプリットタンを組み合わせたデザイン。各モデルには替え紐が付属し、サイドには「GEL-LYTE III」のワードマーク、フットベッドにはコラボレーションロゴが配されています。Ronnie Fieg for ASICS GEL-LYTE III “World’s Fair” は、Brazil、South Korea、Italy、Canada から着想を得たカラーウェイで展開されます。

最新の GEL-KAYANO 12.1 は、過去のモデルをベースに Wind Chime と Pure Silver の新カラーでアップデート。アメリカへのオマージュとしてデザインされ、オープンメッシュのアッパー、シンセティックオーバーレイ、タンとフットベッドには Kith のブランディングを配しています。90年代に登場したアーカイブモデル GEL-MAI を再解釈した Ronnie Fieg’s 0.1 バージョンは、オリジナルと同様の fuzeGEL™ テクノロジー を採用しつつ、ライフスタイル仕様にアップデート。メッシュのアンダーレイとシンセティックレザーのオーバーレイで構成され、タンに Fieg、ヒールに Kith のロゴ、さらにコラボレーションフットベッドを備えています。カラーは “Japan” をテーマにデザインされています。GEL-LYTE 3.1 は、GEL-LYTE III のアイコニックなアッパーと GEL-NIMBUS 17 のソールを融合したモデル。デュアルデンシティ構造とジェルパディングを採用し、レザーアッパーにキルティングのアンダーレイ、Fieg ロゴ入りのスプリットタン、そして1900年パリ万博を讃えるデボスアートワークをサイドにあしらっています。そしてコレクションを締めくくるのは、“Chicago” GEL-KAYANO 14®。グラナイトを基調にグレーとホワイトのアクセントを効かせ、イリディセント加工を施したシンセティックレザーのオーバーレイ、タンに Kith、ヒールに Fieg のロゴ、さらに特製パッケージが付属します。

Ronnie Fieg for ASICS World’s Fair コレクションの発売および Kith Chicago のオープンを記念し、Ronnie Fieg と ASICS は 10月3日（金）に、1日限定で “ASICS World Fair” をシカゴで開催します。当日は Kith Chicago の店舗が特別な ASICS エキシビションへと姿を変え、Ronnie Fieg のこれまでのコラボレーションを含むパーソナルコレクションに加え、アジアとヨーロッパから選ばれた2名のコレクターによる貴重なアーカイブが展示されます。店内全体がフットウェアルームとして構成され、その中心には Ronnie Fieg for ASICS World’s Fair カプセルコレクションを展示。来場者は、10月4日に予定されているシカゴでの正式発売および10月6日のグローバルローンチに先駆けて、特別に本コレクションを購入することができます。さらに当日の夜には、Ronnie Fieg と ASICS による特別トークセッションも開催。今回のコラボレーションのインスピレーションや、これまでのパートナーシップの歩みについて語ります。Vitality Loyalty Members（Kith メンバーシップ会員）は、Kith App から抽選に参加することで、このイベントに招待されるチャンスがあります。

Ronnie Fieg and ASICS reprise their continued collaboration, including new iterations of the GEL-LYTE III, Fieg’s signature silhouette, the return of the GEL-KAYANO 12.1 and 14®, and the reintroduction of the Mai 0.1 and the GEL-LYTE 3.1, celebrating the opening of Kith Chicago. 

Titled “World’s Fair,” this collection pays tribute to the global heritage of the World’s Fair, with each of the 8 silhouettes inspired by past host cities including Chicago, France, Japan, Canada, Italy, Brazil, South Korea, and the United States.

The assortment begins with the GEL-LYTE III, Ronnie Fieg’s first-ever Kith footwear collaboration from 2011. Designed in four blocked colorways with variated quilted underlays, patent leather Tiger Stripes at the lateral and medial sides, and the iconic split tongue with Fieg branding, each is complete with additional lace options, GEL-LYTE III wordmarking on the lateral sides, and a co-branded footbed. The Ronnie Fieg for ASICS GEL-LYTE III World’s Fair features colorways inspired by Brazil, South Korea, Italy, and Canada. 

Additionally, Kith reprises their Vintage Tech Pack seen earlier this year, featuring the return of the KAYANO 12.1 and the introduction of the GEL-MAI 0.1 and the GEL-LYTE 3.1. The latest iteration of the GEL-KAYANO 12.1 replicates previous versions in the updated colors Wind Chime & Pure Silver as a nod to the United States, featuring an open mesh upper, synthetic overlays, and Kith branding on the tongue and footbed. Derived from the archival GEL-MAI that launched in the 90s, Ronnie Fieg’s 0.1 version features the same fuzeGEL technology that the original has, updated in lifestyle materials to have a mesh underlay and synthetic leather overlays, complete with Fieg branding on the tongue, Kith branding on the heel, and a co-branded footbed, designed in hues coined “Japan”. The GEL-LYTE 3.1 marries the iconic upper on the GEL-LYTE III with the GEL-NIMBUS 17 sole, highlighted by dual-density stacking and gel padding. It features a leather upper, quilted underlays, a split tongue with Fieg branding, and debossed artwork on the lateral sides, dedicated to France’s World’s Fair in Paris during 1900. The Ronnie Fieg for ASICS World’s Fair collection is completed by the “Chicago” GEL-KAYANO 14®, featured in the Granite colorway with Gray and White accents. This silhouette features iridescent synthetic leather overlays, Kith branding on the tongue and Fieg branding on the heel, and custom packaging. 

To celebrate the release of the Ronnie Fieg for ASICS World’s Fair collection and the opening of Kith Chicago, Ronnie Fieg and ASICS will be bringing their own ASICS World Fair to Chicago for one day only on Friday, October 3rd. Kith Chicago will be transformed into an ASICS exhibition, showcasing Ronnie Fieg’s complete personal collection, past and present collaborations, and the personal collections of two select collectors from Asia and Europe. This full footwear room takeover will have the Ronnie Fieg for ASICS World’s Fair capsule showcased in the center as guests will have a chance to purchase the collection a day prior to the official launch in Chicago on Saturday, October 4th and the global launch on Monday, October 6th. Fieg and ASICS are also hosting a special conversation that night, where they will discuss the inspiration behind their latest collaboration and the history of Ronnie Fieg’s partnership with ASICS. Vitality Loyalty Members will be invited to enter a drawing for a chance to attend on the Kith App.
