POGGY STYLE Dressing for Work and Play
日本文化における「ハレ（非日常）」と「ケ（日常）」の概念を背景に、小木“Poggy” 基史 氏が20年以上取り組んできたテーマである、仕事と遊び、フォーマルとカジュアルといった装いの二面性をどのように調和させるかを追求した一冊です。同氏は、ストリートウェアと「トラディショナル」と呼ばれる西洋スタイルを融合させ、固定観念にとらわれない自由なスタイリングを提案。ツイードにフーディーを重ねたり、スーツにスポーツジャージを合わせるなど、日常の装いに創造性と個性を吹き込むスタイルの哲学が詰まっています。身近な服に工夫を加えることで自分らしさを表現する──そんな現代的な「侘び寂び」の感性が息づいた作品ともいえます。
To celebrate the release of POGGY STYLE: Dressing for Work and Play, published by Rizzoli New York, Kith Tokyo will host a special event—Book Signing Event – POGGY STYLE—featuring the book’s author, Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi.
Guests who purchase the book at Kith Tokyo on the day of the event will receive a hand-signed autograph from Poggy, along with a serving of “The Kin,” a signature Kith Treats menu item curated by Poggy himself for this occasion.
