Kith Classics for adidas Heritage Running コレクションは、世代を超えて受け継がれてきたデザインをつなぎ、スポーツの過去を形づくり、そして未来へと影響を与え続けるシルエットにフォーカスしています。このストーリーは 1972年、長距離ランニングを革新した軽量構造で知られる SL 72 OG の再解釈から始まります。続いて1983年に登場した、レトロなウェブミッドソールを備えた New York、1991年にリリースされた Oregon Ultra Tech、2000年代初頭のランナーを蘇らせた Supernova Cushion 7、そして2013年のデビュー以来人気を博した Energy Boost へと展開します。カプセルコレクションの締めくくりを飾るのは、レースデイからその先までを見据えて設計された最新のパフォーマンスモデル Adizero Boston 13。このシルエットに共同ブランディングが施されるのは今回が初となります。

それぞれのモデルは、SL 72 の軽量構造から最新の Adizero Boston 13 に至るまで、その時代ごとのテクノロジーの進化を体現し、adidas Running が築いてきたレガシーを映し出しています。各シューズは、メッシュアッパーにスムースレザーのオーバーレイを組み合わせ、メタリックなアップリケディテールを施すことで、アーカイブデザインの言語にオマージュを捧げています。一部のシルエットには内側にマルチカラーのアクセントを配し、すべてのモデルのシュータン、ヒール、ソックライナーへ Kith のブランディングをあしらいました。さらに、本コラボレーションには特製パッケージと、各モデルのリリース年が記された記念の共同ブランディング仕様のランナーズビブが付属します。

Kith Classics and adidas Running celebrate more than sixty years of innovation with a six-shoe collection, honoring key milestones in adidas’ performance footwear history.

The Kith Classics for adidas Heritage Running collection bridges generations of design, spotlighting silhouettes that have shaped the past and continue to influence the future of the sport. This story begins in 1972, with the reimagining of the SL 72 OG known for its lightweight construction that helped revolutionize distance running. The collection then moves into 1983 with the introduction of the New York shoe, complete with a retro webbed midsole, followed by the Oregon Ultra Tech originally released in 1991, the Supernova Cushion 7 that revives the early 2000s runner, and the Energy Boost, popularized after its debut in 2013. The capsule is completed by the Adizero Boston 13, adidas Running’s latest performance model built for race day and beyond and marks the first time the silhouette features co-branding.

Each model reflects the technological progress of its era—from the lightweight build of the SL 72 to the race-day engineering of today’s Adizero Boston 13—showcasing adidas Running’s legacy. Each shoe has a mesh upper with smooth leather overlays and metallic applique detailing that nod to archival design language. Select silhouettes feature multi-color hits on the medial, and all are complete with Kith branding on the tongue, heel, and sockliner. This collaboration is complete with custom packaging, and a commemorative co-branded runner’s bib that denotes the release year of each style.
