Kith Chicago
Kith は、“Windy City（風の街）”として知られるアメリカ イリノイ州 シカゴの中心地に、最新のフラッグシップストア Kith Chicago をオープンいたします。
シカゴを代表するショッピング街「Magnificent Mile」近くに位置する Kith Chicago は、レザーフィニッシュを施した Belatrix Stone の美しいファサードを、重厚なブラスで縁取った外観が印象的です。店内は2フロア構成で、Kith のインハウスプロダクトに加え、メンズ・ウィメンズ・キッズのアパレル、アクセサリー、フットウェア、ライフスタイルグッズを展開。また、新たな Kith Treats も併設されています。今回のフラッグシップは、Ronnie Fieg のデザインビジョンのもと、建築家 Ben Porto（Porto Architecture）が設計を手がけ実現しました。
来店者を迎える1階は、ダークウォルナットのミルワークと格子状の天井が特徴。ここでは Kith のコレクションやその他ブランド、メンズフットウェアを展開しています。床は Belvedere を使用し、Montclair Danby 大理石の縁取りで仕上げられています。アパレルニッチには、K&K Crest のエンボス加工を施したベルベットとレザーウォールカバーが配されています。フロア中央には、Belvedere のモノリシックケースワークが並び、Kith のライフスタイルアクセサリーやジュエリーを展示。その向かいには、Mark Jupiter 製の特注ウォルナットベンチを備えたメンズフットウェアが配置されています。
同じダークウォルナットと Montclair Danby 大理石を用いたステートメント階段を上がると2階へ。階段の空間は特に、カスタムの K&K ウォールカバーパネルとダークウォルナットの腰壁、大きなギャラリーウォールにプラスターで柔らかさを加えた設えにより、温かみとホスピタリティを感じさせます。ギャラリーウォールには、シカゴを拠点とするアーティストによる30点以上の写真が展示され、都市の景観やテクスチャーを表現しています。
2階は Kith Women を中心に、ウィメンズブランドやフットウェア、Kith Kids を展開し、1階のメンズフロアとは対照的に明るい空間が広がります。階段を上がるとまず目に入るのは、30以上のペンダントを螺旋状に吊り下げた特注のシャンデリア。訪れる人を惹きつけ、ウィメンズスペースへの新鮮な導入を演出します。天井はオークで縁取られたライムウォッシュ仕上げ、壁は Rosa Aurora Macchia Vecchia 大理石、床はオークのヘリンボーンバンドをインセットした Rosa Aurora で構成。周囲のアパレルニッチはオーク材の特注造作に Verde Jasmine 大理石のフレームをあしらい、上質な空間を作り出しています。大きなストアフロントの窓際にはウィメンズフットウェアを展示し、その向かいにはバッグとアクセサリー専用のルームが設けられています。
ウィメンズアクセサリールームは、タフテッドの壁紙、Rosa Aurora Macchia Vecchia 大理石を用いた特注ジュエリーヴィトリンとハンドバッグディスプレイ、モザイクタイルの床で構成された、親密で柔らかな空間です。また、店内にはこのような親密なスペースが随所にあり、そのひとつがキッズルーム。象徴的なクラウドモチーフのアーチとマルチカラーのストーンフロアが特徴です。最後に、向かい側には専用のシーティングを備えた Kith Treats があり、訪れる人々にとってストア全体を眺めながらひと息つくのに最適な場所となっています。
Kith Chicago のオープンを記念し、Kith は特別なカプセルコレクションを制作しました。Tシャツ、フーディー、クルーネック、ヘッドウェアで構成され、‘47 とのコラボレーションによる「Kith Chicago」限定アートワークを施したアイテムがラインナップ。9月29日（月）の Monday Program™ として Kith.com にて発売されます。さらに Ronnie Fieg for ASICS からは「World’s Fair」と題した記念フットウェアパックが登場。1933–1934年のシカゴ万博と、1939年および1964年のクイーンズ万博という共通のヘリテージにオマージュを捧げたコレクションで、Fieg のシグネチャーモデル GEL-LYTE III の新作に加え、GEL-KAYANO 12.1 の復刻、Mai 0.1、GEL-LYTE 3.1 が初登場します。Ronnie Fieg for ASICS World’s Fair は10月6日（月）の Monday Program™ として展開されます。加えて10月3日（金）には、シカゴのランドマークをモチーフにしたアートワークをあしらった店舗限定のエクスクルーシブコレクションも登場します。

Kith is proud to announce the opening of its latest flagship, located in the heart of the Windy City—Chicago, Illinois.
Located right off the Magnificent Mile, Kith Chicago sits proudly with a beautiful leathered Belatrix Stone facade, framed with thick brass. Featuring two floors of Kith’s in-house offering and additional apparel, accessories, footwear, and lifestyle goods for men, women, and kids, Kith Chicago is also home to an all-new Kith Treats. Ronnie Fieg collaborated with architect Ben Porto of Porto Architecture to execute Fieg’s design vision to bring this flagship to life.
Visitors are surrounded by dark walnut millwork and a coffered ceiling when they enter the first floor of the space, housing Kith, additional brands, and footwear for men. There is Belvedere flooring complete with Montclair Danby marble bordering and apparel niches lined with custom K&K Crest embossed velvet and leather wallcovering. Displayed prominently along the center of the store are monolithic Belvedere caseworks displaying Kith’s lifestyle accessories, and jewelry on one side. On the opposite side features Men’s footwear accompanied by custom Mark Jupiter walnut benches.
Ascend the statement staircase made of the same dark walnut and Montclair Danby marble found on the steps as the main space to enter the second floor—warmth and hospitality speaks loudest at the stairs, especially with the large gallery wall made of custom K&K wallcovering panels and dark walnut wainscotting, softened with plaster. The gallery wall features over thirty curated photographs from Chicago-based artists showcasing the city’s beautiful cityscape and textures.
The second floor is dedicated to Kith Women, additional women’s brands, footwear, and Kith Kids, featuring a lighter space that contrasts the men’s floor. Adorning the top of the staircase is a custom chandelier centerpiece consisting of over thirty-times individual pendants hanging in a helix formation, captivating guests and evoking a new feeling upon entering into the women’s space. Visitors are charmed with the oak trimmed lime wash ceilings, Rosa Aurora Macchia Vecchia marble lined walls, and Rosa Aurora floor inset with an oak herringbone band. The apparel niches along the perimeter of the room are made of custom oak millwork embellished with Verde Jasmine marble frames. Displayed against the large store front windows is Women’s footwear and just opposite of it is a room dedicated to Women’s handbags and accessories.
The Women’s Accessories Room is an intimate, soft space lined with tufted wallpaper, custom Rosa Aurora Macchia Vecchia jewelry vitrines and handbag display, and a mosaic tile floor. Throughout the store, guests will find a few more intimate spaces like this, such as the Kid’s Room—distinguished by its signature cloud motif archway and multi-colored stone flooring. And lastly, Kith Treats is found across the way with dedicated seating, the perfect last stop for visitors to take a beat and enjoy the view of the store.
To commemorate the opening of Kith Chicago, Kith created a special capsule of apparel and accessories, comprising tees, hoodies, crewnecks, and headwear in collaboration with ‘47, completed by exclusive Kith Chicago artwork as the Monday Program™ offering on September 29th, available on Kith.com. Ronnie Fieg for ASICS also introduce a celebratory footwear pack titled “World’s Fair” as a nod to the shared heritage of the World's Fair between Chicago (1933-1934) and Queens (1939, 1964), highlighted by new iterations of the GEL-LYTE III, Fieg’s signature silhouette, the return of the GEL-KAYANO 12.1, and the introduction of the Mai 0.1 and the GEL-LYTE 3.1. Ronnie Fieg for ASICS World’s Fair will be the following Monday Program™ on October 6th. Kith Chicago will also receive an exclusive collection available only in-store on October 3rd, featuring artwork inspired by Chicago landmarks.
